Morning friends! We started back to our homeschool coop this week, and it was exhaustingly fun! In addition to reading books we love audio adventures! I was so excited to receive The Adventure Begins Series 1 of Jonathan Park for my son to listen to.
Wise King Media produces this audio series, and my son has really enjoyed it. This fast-paced audio drama is filled with an interesting storyline and characters. Each story in Johnathan Park shares the Truth and points to the Creator and all his magnificent creations. Biblical themes are intertwined within the stories to give you the listener, encouragement as you go through your daily life to help you and your children defend their faith in these trying times.
The Adventure Begins Series Pak was given to twenty-eight members of the Homeschool Review Crew for review. This series is about Jonathan Park and his father who find themselves in a cave with the Brenan family as they seek shelter inside of a hidden cave. Inside the cave, dinosaur bones are discovered, and the two families unite to build a creation science museum to spread the message of the Creator. 
The first CD includes approximately over 5 hours of listening time on 4 albums. It is available as a physical CD or a digital download. Faith-building and scientific topics are covered in this series and include topics such as The evolutionary Tree, the Design of the Water Cycle, Showing Kindness, and the Consequences of Sin. We were blessed to receive a physical CD set. The four CD’s within this series include the following titles:
~ The Secret of the Hidden Cave
~ African Safari
~ Art Heist Adventure
~ Mystery at Dead Man’s Curve
On these four albums there are three different episodes which are approximately 20-25 minutes in length. Each album also has a corresponding study guide that can help you dig a little deeper into the stories with review questions and fun activities.
My son really enjoyed listening to these CD’s. We kept them for bedtime listening as an incentive to stay in his bedroom at night. So far it has helped tremendously in keeping him in his room at night. We are just about ready to purchase the next CD as he has completely finished listening to this series several times over.
