Morning friends! Earlier this year I was able to share a review of the half-semester, self-paced Study Skills / Measurement / Lab Reports / Graphing, course from Greg Landry's Homeschool Science. I was so excited when Mr. Landry did another crew run since McKenzie was interested in enrolling in a science course, specifically the Biochemistry / Microbiology - Self-paced 7th-12th grade. Now, I am even more excited to tell you that Mr. Landry has graciously offered members of the Homeschool Review Crew a 6-month subscription to his new program, Greg Landry's Homeschool Science Membership.
As you are aware, Mr. Greg Landry is an experienced science teacher who is also a homeschool dad. He has not only taught homeschoolers, but also university students as a former college professor. He has brought his love of teaching science to the internet through the Canvas learning platform. Greg Landry created his homeschool science program because

We received access to all the traditional high school level courses of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as well as access to the interactive, virtual homeschool laboratory. Every course is a Christ-Centered, self-paced course taught by recorded videos by Mr. Landry himself. Since Mr. Landry is a follower of Christ he begins each video lesson with prayer, which I love. Then you get into the actual lesson.

Self-paced online classes for 7th-12th graders include:

So while I am fully confident in my ability to teach upper level science as well as to complete labs at home, I am grateful for homeschool science labs online such as the Virtual, interactive homeschool laboratory courses from Greg Landry's Homeschool Science. Overall, we are pleased with this family membership and I recommend that you check it out as well! McKenzie has learned a lot already concentrating on using the virtual chemistry lab. I really like how it goes through all of the correct safety steps just like she would have to do inside a real lab. We are eager to dive more into the virtual chemistry lab as we progress through her chemistry curriculum this school year. She is more than ready for upper level science courses and we have the foundational science courses from Greg Landry’s to thank for that.
