Under Drake's Flag is two hours of non-stop adventure based on the novel by G.A. Henty by the same name and tells the story of Ned Hawkshaw, a fictional boy who served under Sir Francis Drake. While on board Drake's ship Ned meets another boy named Gerald. The two become friends right away and they set out and have lots of adventures together. From being set adrift in a painter's boat, to rescuing a girl from a ferocious shark, or helping to plunder a Spanish town the two have great expeditions and have their faith tested. Getting separated from the ship during a hurricane and experiencing first hand the Spanish Inquisition you can almost feel the struggle in which the boys are under. Because we are on the go almost every day of the week we strictly listened to this while traveling. The girls were silent as the story played eagerly listening for each detail. Sometimes we would stay in the van until a chapter had ended just so we could hear the end of the story. I really like the fact that the stories where numbered so we could find our spot quickly.
