1. Do you cook every night?
Usually, yes. I normally don't cook on Fridays, we usually have leftovers.
2. What kind of laundry detergent do you use & why?
Tide HE a must for the washer. Dreft HE for the baby's clothes.
3. Do you do laundry every day or loads at a time?
With 7 people in the house, doing laundry daily is a must (except on Sundays). When I get behind it's crazy trying to get caught up. I usually put a load in the night before and then just press the start button when I go downstairs in the morning.
4. How often do you eat out per week?
Lately too much. Normally, just once a week or less.
5. Where do you usually eat out?
McDonald's, Burger King, Chinese food, or Subway.
6. What is your favorite retail store?
♥Target♥ I have been known to stimulate there economy
7. What's your favorite thing to drink?
Diet Pepsi and Cherry/Cola Slurpee's
8. Do you take vitamins? What kind?
Everyday,Prenatal vitamins.
9. What percentage of the household chores to you do?
90%
10. Do your children do chores? {Or will they, did they, etc}
Yes, all the girls except McKenzie :-) I just ordered the Managers of Their Chores book by Steve and Teri Maxwell. I am in the process of implementing the chore packs for the girls. Currently they have a few set chores that they do regularly throughout the week and then we have our work day on Saturdays.
11. Do you go to church?
Yes. We have not found a church home yet since moving to VA, but we are working on it.
12. Do you have a housework schedule?
No, I am a list maker. I think the chore pack will help me with a schedule.
13. Do you keep a working budget?
Yes, I have too. We went down to one income since the move so I try to stick to my budget. Some months are better than others, but it's a learning process.
14. What do you do at night as a family?
We eat dinner together, baths for the girls, watch TV or play the Wii, laugh, read books, etc.
15. How do you prepare yourself for a new week?
I usually start planning on Saturdays and then fine tune on Sunday night.
16. What do your mornings look like?
My schedule has been thrown off a bit, but usually I awake between 530-545am, pray and have my quiet time. I shower and tidy up the room then head downstairs and check the email and blogs I read. At 7am I start cooking breakfast. We eat breakfast at 730am and then get morning chores done and will start school by 815am.
17. What time do you get up in the mornings?
Between 530-545am.
18. What time do you go to bed at night?
Trying to get to bed by 1030pm, but usually it's more like 1130pm.
19. How do you manage all of the paperwork that floods into your household? {bills, school work, magazines, ads, etc}
I have a basket for mail, I do the bills online, and then I am working on a binder filing system (will blog about it when I finally get it in place).
20. How do you keep your household organized? {calendars, charts, etc}
I keep a calendar on the refrigerator, one on my office desk, a planner in my purse, and I use the calendar on my Blackberry. Probably a bit anal, but it works for me:-)
